And I Always Will — Woven Tapestry
The One With The Best Birthday Ever :: ended with this spectacular show! Being a February baby born + raised in the Midwest, most birthdays were snow-days stuck indoors. And for someone who hates being cold, I always dreamed of just one summer-filled birthday. So when I lived in California, I spent the day on the water whale watching followed by the yummiest Ethiopian dinner. And somehow there was even the most epic sunset just for me. ;) I remember wanting to freeze that moment in time, so I embraced this photo trend + every year it pops up in my timehop, I am immediately transported back to this perfect day. So, for the weaving of #100moredaysofphotostofibers, I drew inspiration from this photo I took on the best birthday ever.
I set out to paint with fiber this breathtaking sunset and memorable day by mixing all the bold + muted yellows, oranges, reds + blues.
For #the100dayproject, my original photos will also be available for purchase. If you would like to purchase the print of And I Always Will, it is available here.
Size: 22”W x 30”H
Color: Black, Slate, Barolo, Clay, Sunflower, Lemon, Mustard, Golden, Burnt Orange, Dusty Apricot, Jade, Peacock, Bird’s Egg, Delft + Fjord Blue on a reclaimed branch

With every sale, you choose a project you would like to support. My hope is that it would connect you to some incredible work that is being done around the world. Together, we are #knotjustthreads, we are an interwoven tapestry and when we come together, beautiful things can happen.
I have been intentional with the organizations I have chosen to support. I know that it is not only important to know where the money goes, but to know that the work is being done in sustainable ways to produce a long-lasting impact. Having personally partnered with each of these organizations in the field, I have seen how they practice love in action.
