Zebra Love - Framed Punch Needle
Zebra Love — Framed Punch Needle
What a beautiful sight it was to see zebras cuddling in their natural habitat in Kenya. Did you know that zebras hug while they are resting as a way to protect one another? How sweet is that!? I think we all could learn a thing or two from these quirky creatures by hugging a loved one today because we all need a little more love and a little more comfort.
For this week’s #100moredaysofphotostofibers, I drew inspiration from this awe-filled moment that I never saw coming of zebra love. I turned my original photo into a digital pattern that I could punch needle in a “pop art style”
For #the100dayproject, my original photos will also be available for purchase. If you would like to purchase the print of Zebra Love, it is available here.
Size: 12”W x 12”H x 1”D
Color: Black, White, Belize + Aleutian Blue, Framed in Grey Wooden Shadow Box

With every sale, you choose a project you would like to support. My hope is that it would connect you to some incredible work that is being done around the world. Together, we are #knotjustthreads, we are an interwoven tapestry and when we come together, beautiful things can happen.
I have been intentional with the organizations I have chosen to support. I know that it is not only important to know where the money goes, but to know that the work is being done in sustainable ways to produce a long-lasting impact. Having personally partnered with each of these organizations in the field, I have seen how they practice love in action.
